RENITHERM® PMC-R is a water-based fire protection coating for horizontal and vertical oriented electrical cables. In the event of fire RENITHERM® PMC-R foams up under the effect of heat to form an insulating layer which reduces the spread of flame in cable runs and prevents the emission of hydrochloric gases in cable fires.
